Welcome to Experience Dental in Fort Collins, where comfort, innovation, and personalized care come together. I’m Dr. Adam Altdorfer, and I am honored to provide dental care to the Fort Collins community. After practicing for many years in Boulder, I envisioned a space that pushes dentistry forward while still feeling calm and restorative for every patient. I carefully designed this office to be spa-inspired and peaceful, allowing me to provide detailed preventive care while applying precision and creativity in cosmetic dentistry.

A Personal Mission

My passion for dentistry began with a simple goal: helping people live healthier, fuller lives. After graduating from dental school, I completed an intensive General Practice Residency at The Ohio State University, where I received advanced training in complex full-mouth rehabilitation, medically involved cases, and safe sedation dentistry. This experience shaped my approach to providing high-level dentistry with accuracy, intention, and compassion. Witnessing the impact of obstructive sleep apnea in my family later inspired me to specialize further in this area. Through training with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, I help patients achieve better rest, improved overall health, and a higher quality of life.

Life Beyond Dentistry

Outside of the practice, I enjoy exploring Colorado’s outdoors with my wife, children, and our dogs, Sasha and Hermes, through hiking, skiing, and spending time in nature. I’m passionate about wildlife photography, yoga, and cooking, which bring balance and creative energy into my life. Coming from a family of dentists, I value community and the trust that forms through genuine, long-term relationships.
